What an exciting culmination to an epic riding adventure. The turnout for the KAT Walk and the bike tour was exhilarating to say the least. Sandy, Monte, and I had a wonderful time on the ride. This was a very special event that I will cherish for years to come. The ride itself was very challenging, as I am accustomed to flat roads, but the scenery was amazing.
The camaraderie of the teammates coming together to help others get through this journey, and the patients stories of life on dialysis, is to me what the spirit of the ride was about.
Thank you for letting me experience the Tour.

Scott, I received a very nice note from Sandy yesterday. I can tell you that the committee enjoyed making this ride possible for you, Sandy and Monte. Next year I WILL ride your hand cycle. You were a great inspiration for all the Tour riders, thanks for your kind words and allowing me to ride along side you at variou points on the tour. See you next year.

It was an honor and a pleasure riding with you on the Tour. Your sense of courage and humor were evident throughout the Tour, even when the ride got rough. I hope our paths will meet again someday. Please give Sandy a hug for me and pet Monte for me. See you next year!
